Erick Erickson has reached an agreement with Compass Media Networks for national distribution of his radio program.
The Atlanta-based host has been with 95.5 WSB for more than a decade and recently announced a contract extension to remain with Cox Media Group.
“We are thrilled to embark on this next chapter of our growth and are so appreciative of our friends and partners who have supported us,” said Erickson.
With the agreement, The Erick Erickson Show will continue airing from 12:00-3:00 PM ET, with the show will now be available to a nationwide audience.
“At a critical time in our nation’s history and just as the public starts to turn their attention to the upcoming Presidential election cycle, we are thrilled to bring Erick Erickson to the national stage,” Compass Media Networks CEO and Founder Peter Kosann said. “He is a winner by every metric and we are lucky to call him our friend and colleague.”
Erickson had previously been self-syndicating the show, with more than 30 affiliates, including WBT (Charlotte), WDBO (Orlando), WOKV (Jacksonville), and KXNT (Las Vegas). He previously hosted afternoons on 95.5 WSB, before entering the 12:00-3:00 PM ET timeslot after the death of Rush Limbaugh.
After adding Erickson’s show, Compass Media Networks now offers several news/talk programs to affiliates. Markley, Van Camp & Robins, The Joe Pags Show, The Lars Larson Show, The Schnitt Show, and America’s First News with Gordon Deal are all distributed by the company.
