Congratulations are in order for Jack Fritz. The Marks & Reese producer is getting his own weekday show on 94 WIP. He will lead off the station’s evening lineup beginning Monday.
The new show is titled Jack Fritz at Six. It will run for one hour right after Marks & Reese.
Fritz is not the replacement for Joe Giglio, who moved from nights to middays last month. He and Hugh Douglas took over for Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie after they took over the morning show.
Jack Fritz, who has been with WIP since 2017, will likely be Phillies-heavy with his new show. 94 WIP is the team’s flagship station.
That hour will precede games most nights in the spring and summer. The Philadelphia Inquirer points out that Fritz has also hosted High Hopes, a Phillies-focused podcast, since 2018.
