MLB on Apple TV+ is back for a second season, and Apple has revealed its lineup of games and broadcasters for games through July.
Friday Night Baseball will be available to Apple TV+ subscribers. It’s $6.99 a month after a seven-day free trial.
The first and only day game on the Apple schedule will begin the tech giant’s 2023 run presenting games. The Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers will play at Wrigley Field at 2 p.m. The San Diego Padres and the Atlanta Braves will be in the nightcap of the doubleheader.
Wayne Randazzo and Alex Faust will be on play-by-play for their respective games. Dontrelle Willis and Ryan Spilborghs will be analysts and Heidi Watney and Tricia Whitaker will be reporting from field level.
Studio coverage for Apple will be hosted by Lauren Gardner with Siera Santos. Xavier Scruggs and Matt Joyce will be the studio analysts, with Brian Gorman and Dale Scott offering an umpiring perspective. Baseball journalist Russell Dorsey will also be contributing.
Apple’s first look at the defending World Series champion Houston Astros will come on April 21, when Houston takes on the Braves in a rematch of the 2021 World Series.
