It took two months, but 98.5 The Sports Hub host Scott Zolak is tweeting once again. The Zolak & Bertrand co-host got a much-appreciated assist from Steve “Dakota in Braintree” Happas, a local listener and CEO of sports apparel brand Swing Juice.
“That’s the guy that got me hooked back up on Twitter,” Zolak said Tuesday. “He’s got a person at Twitter.”
Zolak said he never expected Happas to be able to help get him in touch with an actual human at the company, but he came through. It still took two weeks once he got a contact, but the New England Patriots color analyst was able to log back into his account on Monday.
“It takes a while for Twitter to get back to you, but I got an actual person at Twitter that reaches out and is handling this,” he added. “They were fantastic. Whoever the hell hired them to do this, they do a great job.”
Zo said that Twitter has gotten a lot of heat recently in the news for various reasons, but he wanted to let people know that there were still good folks working at the social media giant. Co-host Marc Bertrand was quick to point out that you couldn’t forget Dakota in Braintree.
“And you needed someone who knew the person in order to get it resolved,” Bertrand said.
