The 2024 presidential race is starting to heat up, and that excites Brian Kilmeade.
During his radio show Monday, Kilmeade told his Fox News colleague Bret Baier that covering hotly contested primaries is one of the most enjoyable portions of his job.
“I love this stuff,” said Kilmeade. “You love it more than anybody else I know, but you’re also at the hub of reporting it, so you gotta be calm. I can be kind of emotional on the radio,” he joked.
The conversation came about as Kilmeade asked Baier about polling numbers from “respectable” outlets like ABC and The Washington Post that show former President Donald Trump ahead of current President Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
He reiterated to Baier the difference between the two, claiming that covering presidential races compares to another media sector.
“That’s one of the great things, but you have to report it,” Kilmeade added. “I love it cause it’s so similar to sports.”
