Technical difficulties knocked all of the Austin Radio Network stations off the air late last week. Things are back to normal at KOKE and 105.3 The Bat. At The Horn FM though, things are only halfway there.
Austin will hear sports programming on The Horn FM’s three air signals – 104.9 and 101.9 FM and 1260 AM. They will not hear the station’s local hosts though.
The station did not specify what the problem is, but did post a message on Twitter and the station’s website to say the staff is working to get the listeners the programming they expect to hear on the station.
“While we will not have local programming immediately, check our podcast page and social media channels for updates,” the statement reads. “We look forward to resuming normal programming. Thank you to our fans and advertising partners for your patience.”
The Horn FM typically carries local shows from 6 AM until 8 PM most weekdays. It also hosts numerous local weekend shows. Until local programming returns, the station is carrying SportsMap Radio.
