The Media Research Center has announced that Brit Hume of Fox News has been granted the MRC Bulldog Award for Lifetime Achievement.
This esteemed award is given annually to “genuine journalists who deserve recognition but will never be acknowledged by the liberal media establishment,” according to the conservative media monitoring organization.
Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center (MRC), expressed his unwavering support for Brit Hume, stating that he exemplifies what trustworthy news journalism should be.
“Brit deserves this lifetime achievement award not just for running Fox News’s D.C. bureau, but also for his time at ABC News as a steadfastly honest and reliable journalist,” Bozell declared.
He further congratulated Hume on his achievements and contributions to the daily discourse. The MRC, dedicated to highlighting the truth, announced six Bulldog Award winners on Tuesday, followed by the Lifetime Achievement Award for Brit Hume.
The timing of the Bulldog Award for Lifetime Achievement announcement coincides with the recent 2023 Pulitzer Prizes, which, according to the MRC, favored left-leaning journalists.
