The Schmooze is back! Saturday night, Steve Somers will be on WFAN Saturday night to celebrate the station’s 36th anniversary.
Producer Paul Rosenberg hinted at the news on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
WFAN later confirmed to Barrett Sports Media that Somers will be hosting the full night time shift.
The station has made a habit out of celebrating its anniversary with former station stars. Last year, Chris Russo called in to share some of his favorite moments during his run in afternoon drive with Mike Francesa.
Steve Somers was one of the station’s original voices. He retired from WFAN in 2021 after spending the entire first 34 years of WFAN’s existence on the air there.
Rosenberg will serve as Somers’s producer for the anniversary show. No other details have been released.
