Bonneville has announced that veteran television news anchor and reporter Ruth Todd has been named the company’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer.
In her new role, Todd will oversee the radio, television, podcast, and digital platforms currently held by the organization.
“I look forward to returning home and working alongside the talented team to create meaningful experiences and engage audiences across multiple platforms,” Todd said. “Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation and innovate in the ever-evolving media landscape.”
It is a homecoming for Todd who spent a decade as a late-night anchor at Bonneville’s KSL-TV in Salt Lake City. She departed Bonneville in 2021. Todd also previously held television roles in Washington D.C. and Phoenix.
“I am thrilled to welcome Ruth back to Bonneville,” incoming company President and COO Tanya Vea, who will begin her duties on August 1st, said. “Ruth’s exceptional talent and experience make her the ideal leader to guide our content strategy into the future. Her expertise will be instrumental in leading our continued success and delivering high-quality content across our platforms.”
