Spring ratings are out in Portland. While the Blazers didn’t make the playoffs this season, the team still gave sports radio’s target demo (Men 25-54) in the market plenty to talk about and 1080 The Fan took advantage.
The station delivered a top ten performance in weekday prime (M-F 6a-7p). 1080 finished 8th overall with a 3.7 share. For the full week (M-Su 6a-Mid), The Fan grabbed a 2.9 share, good enough for 14th.
Dirt and Sprague featuring Andy ‘Dirt’ Johnson and Brandon Sprague finished 9th in morning drive. The show delivered a 4.0 share for the quarter.
Middays at The Fan are made up of two shows. FOX Sports Radio’s The Herd with Colin Cowherd runs 9a-12p and recorded a 1.3 share to rank 15th in its time slot. From 12p-3p, Danny & Dusty featuring Danny Harang and Dusty Harrah posted a 2.7, which placed them 13th. Overall, the middays 10a-3p block finished 14th with a 2.2 share.
The Fan received its best performance this quarter in afternoon drive. Primetime with Isaac and Suke featuring Isaac Ropp and Jason Scukanek finished 3rd in the market with a 5.8 share for the book.
Portland is a market that leans heavily on FM radio. While the station finished 8th overall for prime hours, it was the top-rated AM station in the market.
