Tuesday was a hard one for the Le Batard family. Dan Le Batard opened his show by announcing the death of his brother David, better known to the art world and fans as Lebo.
David passed away from an undisclosed illness, which Dan described as “poison eating him up from the inside.”
Fans of the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz know David Le Batard’s work. It is his art that decorates the walls of the show’s studio and also adorns much of its merchandise.
David was also well-known by broadcasters connected to Dan and Miami. Many of them took to social media yesterday to share their sorrow and express their condolences to the Le Batard family.
Two other entities expressed their condolences as well. DraftKings, an equity partner in Meadowlark Media shared a message, as did the Miami Heat.
