Stugotz is filling in on WFAN’s morning show this week alongside Gregg Giannotti. During the first segment of the first hour of his first day on the job, the Dan Le Batard Show co-host made his feelings on morning radio clear.
“I have a theory on morning radio and morning radio hosts,” he said on Thursday. “I think they age at a more rapid pace than US Presidents.”
Barrett Sports Media took the quote and asked morning show hosts across the country to weigh in. The responses were humorous, but the consensus was clear. Morning radio is a grind.
Everyone in the WFAN studio agreed with Stugotz’s assessment of the schedule. Stugotz said the real problem is not the hours, but trying to live a normal life in those hours.
Chris Kinard, program director of 106.7 The Fan and The Team 980 in Washington, DC didn’t answer himself. Instead, he deferred to his legendary morning show, The Junkies.
