Megyn Kelly: ‘Kaitlan Collins Was Right’ During Vivek Ramaswamy Interview

2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy took issue with a line of questioning from CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins during a Monday evening interview. SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly has argued that Collins was correct the entire time.

Collins asked Ramaswamy about a quote he gave to The Atlantic about wanting “the truth” about 9/11. In response, the 38-year-old argued that Collins was attempting to spin his words out of context before stating that The Atlantic had misquoted him entirely. He later claimed the interview with Collins “felt like I was talking to a petulant teenager”.

The Atlantic subsequently published audio of Ramaswamy’s comments to prove it had quoted him verbatim. The Republican’s campaign claimed the audio proved that he had been taken out of context.

“The audio clearly demonstrates that Vivek was taken badly out of context and even this small snippet proves that. We continue to encourage the Atlantic to release more of the recording, rather than their carefully selected snippet, so that full context and reality is exposed,” a campaign spokesperson said.

Kelly took issue with that encapsulation.

“Kaitlin (sic) Collins was right,” she wrote in a post to X, formerly Twitter. “Vivek was not misquoted by The Atlantic. And his attempt to say this controversy is all the dishonest media’s fault is itself dishonest.”
