Larry Elder: Debate Candidates Were Given Illegal Contributions By Fox News, RNC

After originally threatening to sue the Republican National Committee, former radio host and current prospective Presidential candidate Larry Elder has argued the RNC and Fox News gave illegal contributions to the debate candidates Wednesday.

Elder has claimed that he met the requirements to appear at the first debate, but was denied the opportunity to participate. He alleges the RNC denied the Rasmussen poll that showed him above the 1% threshold was invalidated by its ties to the campaign of former President Trump.

In response, he has said he will keep the ability to sue the RNC in his back pocket for now but will file a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission alleging impropriety by the political party and Fox News.

“Essentially what the RNC has done is given an in-kind contribution to these eight people that made it on the debate stage and subject to a fine, it could be as much as $100 million. Also Fox News, by putting these people on the debate stage and ignoring the fact that Elder met the criteria that were set forth by the RNC, is also giving an in-kind contribution to the eight people that could amount to a fine as much as $100 million,” Larry Elder alleged during an interview with KFI’s Mo’Kelly Wednesday.

“And we’re filing that complaint…because I met all their requirements.”
