Seven months after announcing a multimedia rights agreement with Playfly Sports, UT-San Antonio has a new broadcast rights deal in place with iHeartMedia.
The school announced Wednesday that the deal with iHeart San Antonio will give Roadrunner football and men’s and women’s basketball a radio home in the market on Ticket 760 and classic country station The Bull 93.3, as well as a presence on the iHeartRadio app.
Ticket 760 will carry UTSA football. Two hours of pregame coverage will lead into the game broadcast and then a 45-minute postgame show. Andy Everett will call play-by-play. Jay Riley will be the color analyst, and Pat Evans will contribute from the sidelines.
Coaches shows for football and basketball will also air on Ticket 760. Additionally, podcasts of the shows will be available on Ticket 760’s website and on the iHeartRadio app.
Basketball game coverage will feature a 30-minute pregame show and a 15-minute postgame show. Everett will call play-by-play for men’s hoops, while Neal Raphael will be calling women’s basketball games.
