Listeners of San Diego Sports 760 will be pleased to know that Jim Russell and Jon Schaeffer aren’t going anywhere for at least the next couple of years.
Russell posted on social media on Thursday that both he and Schaeffer’s contracts have been extended through 2025.
“I love talking all things San Diego sports everyday with all of you, and look forward to doing that for the next two years!” Russell wrote.

iHeart San Diego/Riverside rebranded its sports station and switched its frequency a year ago. The station had been operating as XTRA 1360 before moving to a bandwidth that has a better nighttime signal.
