Longtime Tampa sports radio veteran Jerry Petuck has been named Program Director of 95.3 The Score and News/Talk 590 KUGN in Eugene.
In a social media post Wednesday, Petuck said he left Tampa a month ago to take on the new opportunity. He thanked a number of key people with Cumulus Media for having faith in him to do the job. He added that he’s been working on trying to change the culture of the station during his short time in Oregon.
Previously, Petuck worked as the Associate Program Director of Sports Radio 98.7 The Fan in Tampa. He also spent time at 620 WDAE, Sports Radio 1010 The Team, all in Tampa. He also worked as a freelance producer for Westwood One before joining the Cumulus-owned stations in Eugene.
In addition to his work in sports radio, Petuck also co-founded RadioInfluence, a digital media company primarily focused on podcasting in Tampa Bay.
95.3 The Score and News/Talk 590 KUGN are the flagship radio homes of the Oregon Ducks.
