Mark Levin to Sid Rosenberg: I’ll Call Out Whoever I Want

Last week, conservative radio host and Fox News weekend host Mark Levin took criticism for his inaccurate statements about the family heritage of CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, and his statements about Jake Tapper. But Levin isn’t backing down from his position.

Levin incorrectly claimed Blitzer’s family had not been affected by the Holocaust. In reality, all four of the venerable news anchor’s grandparents perished at the hands of the Nazis. Levin called media figures like Blitzer, Tapper, and MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell “self-hating Jews”. In response, both CNN and the White House condemned the comments from the longtime radio host.

While appearing on Sid and Friends in the Morning with 77 WABC’s Sid Rosenberg, Levin’s statements were brought up by Rosenberg.

“I find that when Jewish people don’t side with Israel 100%, I find them to be more dislikable and dangerous than maybe even Hamas,” Rosenberg said. “Those two guys at CNN are part of the problem.”

In response, Mark Levin claimed he will continue criticizing those he believes need criticism.

“Look, I’m going to call out whoever I want to just like you do, and it’s particularly upsetting a lot of non-Jews don’t understand that,” Levin said, before turning his attention to Blitzer.

“My point was, you’d think he’d have more compassion, as a child of the Holocaust. You think he’d have more compassion, but he doesn’t…And Jake Tapper says the same thing. To compare Israel fighting Hamas in the Gaza Strip, to the Russians, it’s like, are you out of your mind? And so the question is, are they more Democrat and more leftist? Or are they’re going to be journalists at all?

“And so I’m not going to stand back and allow them to get away with this, whatever their backgrounds are. And then to come at me, CNN, Washington Post, the White House. Ask me if I care. I fight back. I kick them back, and I’ll continue to do it and I’ll continue to expose them, but I don’t care about them. They are a huge problem in this country.”
