WFAN midday host Brandon Tierney has announced he has inked an extension to remain with the Audacy-owned station.
“Happy to announce: pen to paper/extension at WFAN officially complete,” Tierney wrote in a post to X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday. “Fired up to continue building our show with my/our core principles: passion, rawness, unpredictability, transparency, a little nuttiness, and always the truest representation of you…the FAN!”
Tierney shifted to WFAN with co-host Tiki Barber from CBS Sports Radio in 2022 after spending eight years together in national syndication.
Tierney and Barber split up earlier this year after the high-profile exit of afternoon host Craig Carton. Tierney stayed in middays with new partner Sal Licata, while Tiki Barber was paired with existing afternoon co-host Evan Roberts.
In the latest ratings period, the pairing of Tierney and Licata garnered a 6.7 share, good for 2nd in the coveted Men 25-54 demographic.
