97.1 The Fan morning host Brandon Beam has signed a multi-year extension to remain with the Columbus sports station.
Beam currently hosts Morning Juice alongside former Ohio State and NFL linebacker Bobby Carpenter. Additionally, Beam hosts the postgame show for the Ohio State Buckeyes football network in conjunction with 97.1 The Fan and Learfield/Ohio State Sports Properties. He also hosts a podcast centered on the MLS’ Columbus Crew for the station.
“Beamer is a smart, versatile personality who has excelled in several roles. We are
thrilled that he has decided to stay at The Fan,” Program Director Matt Fishman said.
“Brandon is an emerging talent that has worked extremely hard on his development,” added Station Manager Cody Welling. “I enjoy his energy, his passion for the station, and his love for
Columbus, our teams, and our fans.”
Brandon Beam began hosting mornings alongside Carpenter in August 2020. Previously, the station had aired the national ESPN Radio morning show before launching Morning Juice.
