Westwood One will be presenting exclusive national audio play-by-play coverage of six NFL games during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Throughout the matchups, several commentators will be featured on the call, including the McCourty brothers, who will be on Friday’s game broadcast.
Westwood One will broadcast audio of the game NFL’s first Black Friday game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. Coverage of the matchup begins at 2:30 PM ET.
With NBC Sports analyst Devin McCourty and NFL Network analyst Jason McCourty serving as analysts on the game, it will mark the second time in league history that twin brothers have shared a three-man booth for a national NFL broadcast. Ian Eagle will join the McCourty brothers as the play-by-play announcer for the matchup, who is also slated to call the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon on CBS.
The McCourty brothers previously called three New England Patriots preseason games together on The McCourty TwinCast, an alternate broadcast presentation produced and disseminated by the team on multiple platforms. Aside from serving as teammates on the Patriots, which included winning the Super Bowl in 2018, the McCourty brothers also launched a podcast titled Double Coverage with the McCourty Twins in the same year.
Starting on Thursday, Nov. 23 – Thanksgiving Day – Westwood One will present a tripleheader that commences in Detroit at 12 PM ET for a matchup between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. Commentators for the opening matchup are JP Shadrick and Derek Rackley, who will be calling the game from Ford Field.
The second game starts at 4:15 PM ET in Dallas between the Cowboys and Washington Commanders with John Sadak and Mike Mayock providing the call. The final game of the day begins at 8 PM ET when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks and will feature Ryan Radtke and James Lofton as the announcing tandem.
Following the Friday afternoon game, Westwood One returns to action for its Sunday Night Football broadcast. The featured matchup this week is an AFC showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, with coverage beginning at 7:30 PM ET. The game features Ryan Radtke and Kurt Warner on the broadcast.
For Radtke, it will mark his second game of the week calling an NFL game for Westwood One, while Warner will be on the first half of a doubleheader. Warner will join Kevin Harlan the next day for the Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings at 7:30 PM ET.
