The NAB has announced the entry window for submissions for the 2024 Crystal Radio Awards.
Radio stations can submit entries from January 1st through 5 PM ET on January 31st to be considered for the award. The Crystal Radio Awards honor 10 stations for “excellence in year-round community service”.
Submissions must be made in one complete document showcasing the station’s commitment to community service and should include a 200-word description of the efforts made during the calendar year.
NAB judges will evaluate the submissions from February 1st through March 18th. 2024 Crystal Radio Award winners will be announced at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 18th.
News/Talk stations have historically done well at the Crystal Radio Awards, with WTMJ (Milwaukee), KYW (Philadelphia), KTAR (Phoenix), WSB (Atlanta), KSL (St. Lake), WBAP (Dallas), and KRMG (Tulsa) being honored for their efforts in the past three years.
