Fox News is set to host a debate between Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) this week. Sean Hannity is slated to moderate the event. KFI AM-640’s Bill Handel won’t miss it.
Last week, Fox News released the details of DeSantis vs. Newsom: The Great Red vs. Blue State Debate. The program will air on Thursday from 9-10:30 PM ET from Alpharetta, Georgia. The two governors will debate a bevy of topics that include the future direction of the country. Hannity will ask questions centered on the economy, immigration, crime, and inflation, among others.
During his morning show on the Los Angeles news/talk station Monday, Bill Handel argued that the event is worthy of the attention it is garnering.
“It’s really a major cultural ‘Let’s see what happens in the future’ fight we’re having, and these two are the poster children of those positions,” Handel said. “I’m certainly not going to miss it. I think the hype is legitimate here.”
In addition to airing on Fox News, the debate will also be available on Fox News Radio. After the debate, Hannity will be live from 10:30-11 PM ET with live reactions from a panel of pundits.
