Earlier this week, Jon Marks announced he was leaving 94WIP after a seven-year run in afternoons. Now he’s open to what comes next.
In a post to X, Marks revealed that he’s open to work both inside and outside media.
“I have some business opportunities that I’m pursuing and hopefully will be able to announce after the new year,” Marks said.
However, he noted that he would be unable to work in any audio mediums — whether radio or podcasting — in the Philadelphia area until April 1st.
Marks added that while he is leaving Audacy’s Philadelphia cluster, he’ll remain in his CBS Sports Radio timeslot from 10 PM-2 AM on Sundays, and will “be doing some fill-in work now that my schedule is clear”.
Jon Marks concluded by saying fans may be able to see him “doing some local TV stuff” that he will be able to announce after the turn of the calendar.
