Las Vegas, get ready. Dan Le Batard and company are headed to Sin City for Super Bowl week.
On Tuesday’s edition of The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, the host revealed that the show for the first time ever will be on location leading up to Super Bowl LVIII.
“We are combining our favorite event with America’s favorite event,” Le Batard said.
More details about the show’s plans for Super Bowl week will become available after the holidays, but Dan also announced that there will be two live shows that week from the Circa Resort and Casino on February 8 and 9. The events have been named Viva MAS Vegas. MAS, an acronym for music, arts, sports, is a live celebration of the show and the music, arts, and sports of Miami. It’s been very popular with fans of the program.
Dan Le Batard said this massive undertaking won’t be cheap, but everyone involved with the show will be making the trip.
“It is wildly expensive. This show is fat with people, and we are going to Vegas,” Le Batard said. “All of us.”
“First time in 19 years that I am going to a Super Bowl that is outside of Miami,” he added.
As for Stugotz, who has long utilized Meadowlark’s unlimited vacation policy to his full advantage, Le Batard said it’s up in the air as to whether fans can expect Stugotz to make the trip.
“I don’t know where he is right now,” Le Batard said. “I’m not sure he will actually be there, but the rest of the show will indeed be there.”
