CNN has announced the promotion of Kyung Lah as a senior investigative correspondent, after previously covering the 2024 Presidential campaign.
Lah was a senior national correspondent covering the upcoming election, after previously covering the results of the 2020 Presidential campaigns, including extensive reporting from states like Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, among others. Her reporting was recognized in 2023 with a Walter Cronkite Award for excellence in television political journalism.
In addition to her time covering Presidential campaigns, Lah worked for CNN as a Tokyo-based correspondent. She was on the ground in Japan in 2009 as a 9.0 earthquake struck the island nation.
Lah was born in South Korea and raised in Chicago. After previously working in a Washington D.C.-based role for CNN, she is now based in Los Angeles.
