A host of one of Barstool Sports’ pillars just signed a multi-year extension to remain with the company. Dave Portnoy announced that PFTCommenter, host of the Pardon My Take and Macrodosing podcasts, signed a new three-year deal to remain at Barstool Sports. Portnoy announced the move overnight via his X account:
Commenter put out an “official” statement, thanking Barstool and fans of PMT for their support. The post is a crude edit of Shohei Ohtani’s message to fans announcing his move to the Los Angeles Dodgers from last summer.
PFTCommenter, a long-suffering Washington sports fan, originally joined Barstool back in 2016 and has become one of the company’s most beloved figures — both internally and externally. His co-workers love him and so do the “Stoolies” and sports media at large. Together, they celebrated the news.
