On Monday, MSNBC Vice President of Editorial and Booking Jesse Rodriguez announced that the network has named Lisa Rubin its legal correspondent.
Rubin, a former litigator, is set to delve into all aspects of law, offering in-depth analysis of court cases and investigations exclusively for the network.
“A big congratulations to Lisa Rubin — named [MSNBC] Legal Correspondent today, covering all things legal and providing analysis on court cases & investigations,” Rodriguez wrote on X.
The new role also allows Rubin to move up from her current positions as a legal analyst for the cable news channel and the off-air legal analyst for The Rachel Maddow Show and Alex Wagner Tonight.
“The cat’s now out of the bag! I’m thrilled to continue my journey with [MSNBC],” Rubin wrote on X. “Thanks especially to the teams [The Rachel Maddow Show] & [Alex Wagner Tonight] for four-plus years of the best training an ex-lawyer could ever have.”
