David Gura is making his return to Bloomberg as host of the business network’s chief Big Take podcast.
In a memo to staff, Bloomberg executives David Merrit, Anthony Mancini, and Sage Baum said in Gura’s role as host of the podcast, he “will take listeners through the best business, finance and economic stories from across our newsroom. He will draw on the in-depth reporting Bloomberg is known for and present our unique take on the day’s news from around the world.”
Gura departed Bloomberg in 2017 for a role with NBC News and MSNBC, where he served as a business reporter and a weekend anchor for the cable network. He departed in 2020 to serve as a correspondent at NPR on the network’s business desk.
According to the memo to staffers, David Gura will begin his work with the business outlet on March 18th and will be based at the outlet’s New York offices.
