Apple TV+ to Carry MLB No. 1 Prospect Jackson Holliday Home Debut

Apple TV+ and “Friday Night Baseball” will feature two of baseball’s top young players this Friday. In game one of their doubleheader, Jackson Holliday will make his Camden Yards debut for the Orioles as they face Jackson Chourio and the Milwaukee Brewers. On the current list of the top 100 prospects in MLB, Holliday is ranked No. 1 while Chourio is ranked No. 2.

Coverage begins at 6:00 p.m. ET with Alex Faust calling the play-by-play with analyst Ryan Spilborghs and sideline reporter Tricia Whitak.

Game two of the doubleheader, scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET will feature the Chicago Cubs taking on All-Star Julio Rodriguez and the Seattle Mariners. Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis and Heidi Watney will be on the call.  Brian Gorman and Dale Scott  — both former MLB umpires — will join in as rules analysts.

Last week, the “Friday Night Baseball” pre-game show became the first in baseball with access to MLB’s Dugout app. During this Friday’s pre-game show, former MLB player Xavier Scruggs will continue to use Dugout to analyze the stars of the games, alongside host Lauren Gardner and insider Russell Dorsey.

“Friday Night Baseball” will be available to all Apple TV+ subscribers on Fridays throughout the regular season. Fans in 60 countries and regions can enjoy two marquee matchups over 26 weeks with no local broadcast restrictions.
