Dan Mandis: CNN Dishonest in Undecided Voter Coverage

As the run-up to the 2024 Presidential election continues, cable news outlets have featured sit-down discussions with undecided voters. CNN recently held one, and SuperTalk 99.7 WTN host Dan Mandis found the coverage disingenuous.

During Nashville’s Morning News, Mandis lamented a recent panel of female voters who claimed they were undecided on who they would support in the 2024 election.

During the conversation, the women used terms like Trump would “slither” away from the federal charges he’s facing, that the former President believed he was “Teflon” from charges, while another talked about the potential cases could “bury him.” The majority of the women also claimed that Trump being convicted of a crime in the hush money case with Stormy Daniels would disqualify him in their eyes.

Dan Mandis argued that, in his view, the women clearly were not undecided voters, and claimed more nefarious circumstances were at play by CNN.

“CNN is absolutely desperate. This whole thing I believe is sort of like a power of suggestion. What CNN is trying to do is that they’re reacting to their own polling that … shows that Biden is in trouble,” said Mandis. “So now, through the power of suggestion, what they’re trying to do is convince women that Biden’s not so bad, by demonizing Donald Trump. Isn’t that obvious what they’re trying to do? CNN ‘s own dishonesty about this piece tells you that they are clearly trying to convince women that Donald Trump is truly awful.

“CNN couldn’t find any women who perhaps might be just a little more in the middle?,” he concluded. “I know that there are women that are clearly conflicted. But they can they can state it more fairly or fair than these women are here. Because these women are not conflicted at all.”
