Lindsey Reiser is leaving her post at MSNBC to join the CBS News 24/7 streaming network as an anchor/correspondent.
Since joining MSNBC in 2020, Reiser has covered a multitude of stories, including the death of Queen Elizabeth II and her subsequent funeral, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the court cases of former President Donald Trump.
The hiring of Reiser at CBS News 24/7 coincides with the outlet’s expansion late last month, with its new flagship program with the same name set to debut as a one-hour program in June.
“CBS News 24/7 is a decidedly ambitious evolution of our streaming efforts,” said network President and CEO Wendy McMahon last month about the updated endeavor. “Data backs up our bet on a fresh, timely, and distinctive approach to breaking news and live coverage. Our audiences crave it, and we’re in the best position to deliver it.”
A graduate of Arizona State University, Lindsey Reiser previously worked as an anchor in El Paso and Phoenix before joining MSNBC.
