Good Karma Brands and ESPN Cleveland announced the debut of Hammer & Emmett, a new Saturday morning show on ESPN Radio featuring local hosts, Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden. The show will premiere on Saturday, May 11th and air from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST.
“We are so proud of the work Aaron and Emmett have put in to earn the opportunity for a new national show,” said Good Karma Brands founder and CEO Craig Karmazin. “Fans are familiar with their voices locally in Cleveland and nationally with their fill in hosting work. They are a great representation of Good Karma Brands and Cleveland, and their contributions will continue to put the city on the national stage.”
The show will fill the hole left by the end of the Dari and Mel Show, which did its final episode this past weekend.
Aaron Goldhammer is a well-known sports media personality, recognized for his co-hosting duties on ESPN Cleveland’s The Really Big Show alongside Tony Rizzo. For over 17 years, Aaron has been talking sports with Cleveland sports fans, filling in on ESPN Radio, and even making appearances in the films Draft Day and Believeland.
As a native of Cleveland, Emmett Golden grew up with WKNR always within earshot and is now known as co-host of ESPN Cleveland’s The Next Level with Jerod Cherry. In 2022, he was honored by Radio Ink Magazine as a “Future Black Leader in Radio,” and can also be found co-hosting GameNight with Q Myers on ESPN Radio every Monday through Wednesday.
