Erick Erickson has never been shy about his original disdain for former President Donald Trump. And while he is often mocked for his views on the cult-like figure, he’s comfortable in his stance.
In a post on social media, Erick Erickson argued that his place in the conservative media landscape isn’t affected by his beliefs or views, despite the pushback from those both in media and in politics.
“I have become the object of scorn for some on the right who think we are in a post-constitutional order in need of a dictatorship to bend the nation in our direction,” Erickson wrote. “I’m okay with being the object of scorn from morons.”
In an era in news/talk radio that has seen many hosts rise in prominence for their support of former President Trump, Erickson has taken the opposite approach and has found as much or more success than others in the genre. His nationally syndicated program, which originates from 95.5 WSB in Atlanta, is now heard on dozens of stations across the nation.
