As the Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin, CBS Evening News will be on location with Norah O’Donnell anchoring from Milwaukee.
CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell will originate from the Wisconsin city on Wednesday, July 17th, and Thursday, July 18th. On the first two days of the convention, the program will offer extensive coverage of the event with in-depth analysis and also the latest developments of the campaign of President Joe Biden.
O’Donnell will also anchor primetime coverage from 8-11 PM ET as former President Donald Trump is expected to accept the party’s nomination for President. Joining O’Donnell in primetime are chief political analyst John Dickerson, Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan, and chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes.
CBS News will feature extension coverage of the event. Tony Dokoupil will be on location for the network’s morning show. Other personnel covering the convention for the network include Weijia Jiang, Major Garrett, Robert Costa, Ed O’Keefe, Caitlin Huey-Burns, Jake Rosen, and Olivia Rinaldi.
