Podcast technology company Blubrry has announced plans to release a new AI clip generator for podcasters to create short videos for social media usage.
“As podcasters ourselves, we understand the constant search for tools that streamline our workflow and boost our reach,” the company said of its upcoming technology. “This new feature, part of the Thrive Bundle within Blubrry’s Podcast AI Assistant feature, will simplify and enhance how you promote your content across social media platforms.”
The AI clip generator will allow Blubrry users to portion out segments of podcasts for easier distribution as creators see an increase in prominence on video platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
The service will be a competitor to the Headliner.app service many in the media industry have used to create videos of their podcast clips.
“This is a Phase 1 release and for most of you it will serve what you need to promote your show with highlight reels,” it said about the new offering.
The company did not give a firm timeline for when the new technology would be available to creators, simply noting that it would be available shortly.
“We’re putting the finishing touches on as you read this and will release it soon,” Blubrry said.
