Triton Digital has released its June 2024 Podcast Ranker in the United States. The Dan Patrick Show came out on top for the sports category as it rose five spots and landed at #25 overall. The show was not in the Top 100 in 2024 prior to it appearing at #30 in May.
Only one other sports show appeared in the top 100 of the list and that was another daily national sports talk show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
Two other sports programs made the overall list for the month of June, The Dale Jr. Download with Dale Earnhardt Jr., and the podcast for The Sports Junkies, the 106.7 The Fan morning show in Washington, D.C.
Edison Research recently released findings trying to determine which programs had the highest portion of the audience that listens exclusively to the show. The Dale Jr. Download finished fourth on the list. The podcast has been on the air since 2017 and discusses a variety of topics pertaining to racing and is available on all major podcasting platforms. Additionally, the show has a video component on YouTube and currently has approximately 400,000 subscribers.
The top two podcasts on the ranker overall were both from NPR.
