For the 28th consecutive month, ESPN Digital was No.1 in the U.S Sports category in the month of June. Their data shows they reached 102.1 million unique fans in the month. When ESPN Digital is added to YouTube and the ESPN social platforms, ESPN reached 181.4 million unique fans, which is about two-thirds of all adults in the United States.
Continuing the domination in the digital space, the ESPN app was No. 1 in the mobile sports app category with 23.5 million unique fans. On YouTube alone, ESPN had 674 million minutes viewed in the month, which is up 58% year over year. The ESPN YouTube page currently has 12.3 million subscribers.
On the social side, ESPN social topped the sports category for the 36th straight month and generated more than 650 million engagements.
