Josh Tolentino has been named lead NFL reporter for theScore. Tolentino posted the news on his social media account earlier today.
“Personal news: Thrilled to share I am the new lead NFL reporter for theScore,” he wrote. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to evolve and cover the league from a national lens. I can’t wait to get back to the grind.”
Tolentino had covered the Philadelphia Eagles for The Philadelphia Inquirer for the last three years but was laid off in June.
Prior to his time at the paper, he covered the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers at The Athletic. He also spent two seasons on the beat of the Tampa Bay Rays in 2019 and 2020 also for The Athletic.
