Larry Krueger, who was let go from KNBR at the end of February 2022, is now coming back to the station. Krueger, who had been with KNBR for more than 25 years before he was let go and had been working for 95.7 The Game and doing a YouTube show, made the announcement via social media.
“They say in life you can never go back, but that’s exactly what I’m announcing this morning,” Krueger posted. “I am returning to KNBR The Sports Leader to contribute to their new and improved/upgraded 49ers coverage. I’m excited to once again work with new KNBR PD Mike Hohler. Thanks to 95.7 The Game and Matt Nahigian for giving me an opportunity to work there. Matt is a great guy to work for and I truly enjoyed my years there.”
Krueger went on to say he will continue doing his YouTube show and added, “but now you will also hear and see me regularly on KNBR 680am/104.5fm. Thanks for all of your support. Go Niners! Go KNBR! LFG!!!!!! Time to go get it!”
Krueger’s resume includes stints as sports director at KGO and he has been heard on SiriusXM, Sports Byline USA, and KHTK.
