WEEI Extends Partnership with New England Patriots

"We are thrilled to continue our coverage of the Patriots, highlighted by the exclusive interviews with players and coaches that have become appointment listening for decades.”

Audacy has announced that WEEI and the New England Patriots have signed a new multi-year extension to their broadcast partnership. The agreement continues to include “Patriots Monday” and “Patriots Friday” programming, with this year will feature first-year Patriots Head Coach Jerod Mayo along with Patriots players. This year also marks the 30th season of the partnership between WEEI and the Patriots, which began in 1995.

“As we celebrate our 30th season partnering with the Patriots, we’re proud to have provided fans with some of the most in-depth conversations during the greatest dynasty in NFL history,” said Mike Thomas, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Boston in a release. “This year, we look forward to ushering in a new era, featuring weekly interviews with Head Coach Jerod Mayo, the quarterback, and a variety of veteran leaders. We are thrilled to continue our coverage of the Patriots, highlighted by the exclusive interviews with players and coaches that have become appointment listening for decades.”

The “Patriots Monday” programming will feature head coach Jerod Mayo on with The Greg Hill Show in morning drive, while rotating players visit with midday show Gresh & Fauria. Afternoons will see the starting quarterback and an additional player on with Jones & Mego.

Fridays will feature more programming based around the team with more player interviews. Additionally, the three Patriots coordinators for offense, defense and special teams will rotate doing weekly interviews on Tuesdays.
