MRN announcer Jeff Striegle has announced the 2024 NASCAR season will be his final one with the longtime racing broadcaster.
In a post to X, Striegle made the announcement, noting it was his decision to step away.
“I have made the decision that after 27 years with (MRN), this will be my last,” he wrote. “This journey has taken me to places and provided opportunities that I could have never imagined. I have memories that will last a lifetime and friends that I will miss dearly,” before adding that he’ll be in Daytona for the upcoming race this weekend.
Striegele works as the booth announcer for MRN broadcasts of the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series. He originally debuted in 1998.
In addition to his work with the radio network, Jeff Striegle is also the General Manager of Berlin Raceway near his home in Grand Rapids.
