FS1 recently added a new show — Breakfast Ball, hosted by Mark Schlereth, Craig Carton, and Danny Parkins — to its weekday lineup.
While appearing with Dan Bickley and Vince Marotta on Arizona Sports 98.7 Wednesday, the hosts joked that he “looked incredible” on TV. The longtime NFL offensive lineman turned radio host and TV analyst responded by saying that while he agrees that he looks good, he hasn’t felt confident in his new role yet.
“Every night I look in the mirror and say the same thing: ‘Man, you look fantastic,'” Schlereth said with a chuckle. “It’s incredible. I totally agree with you. I look fantastic but I sound like a stumbling idiot because I’ve never hosted a show before. So I’m flopping around. But that’s ok.”
Both Bickley and Marotta reassured him that he was doing a fine job on the FS1 show and that “it’s all about reps.”
Breakfast Ball airs at 8 AM ET on FS1. After the program concludes, Schlereth continues to host his morning show on Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan alongside co-host Mike Evans.
