As 60 Minutes gets set to premiere its 57th season with CBS News, it is launching a podcast hosted by one of the show’s correspondents, Seth Doane.
60 Minutes: A Second Look will not only offer additional content from the most recent episodes, but it will also show “how our world has–and hasn’t–changed in the past 50 years through the lens of this American institution.”
“Across every platform, we’re offering more opportunities for viewers to engage with our stories and inviting new audiences to experience the journalism and storytelling that defines us,” said Executive Producer Bill Owens.
The description for the show hosted by Seth Doane “revisits the most impactful moments and people profiled on 60 Minutes with a fresh perspective and the introduction of rare archival treasures.”
The new podcast series will officially debut on Tuesday, September 17th.
Doane currently serves as the Senior Foreign Correspondent for CBS News. He is based in Rome.
