Fox News has fired Robert Samuel, the executive producer of the show hosted by Sean Hannity on the network, after a sexual harassment investigation.
Samuel had worked at Fox News for nearly 20 years and spent the past five years working on Hannity before being fired last week, according to CNN reporter Brian Stelter.
“Employees who violate Fox News Media’s Anti-Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation policy are subject to appropriate remedial action, up to and including immediate termination,” a network spokesperson said.
No further details of potential misconduct by Robert Samuel were reported on and were not confirmed or denied by Fox News.
Tiffany Fazio remains as the Senior Executive Producer of the primetime program amid the exit of Samuel.
