After a week of teasing “change,” Audacy Top 40 Top 40 WFBC (B93.7)/Greenville, SC has added the Jacksonville-based “Dex & Barbie T” to afternoons.
From 2017 until January 2023, Dex Mitchell and Barbie T Whitmire hosted the morning show at SummitMedia’s Rhythmic Top 40 WHZT (Hot 98.1). In January 2023, they relocated to Jacksonville to host mornings at Cox’s Top 40 WAPE.
Barbie T hosted the morning show at WHZT for a decade, alongside Tone Hollywood and Mike Klein, until Mitchell joined the team. The group then relocated to Jacksonville.
Mitchell’s previous stops include APD and morning host at Saga’s Hot AC WOXL (Mix 96.5)/Asheville. He hosted mornings at Galaxy Communications’ Rock “K-Rock” stations WKRL/WKLL/WKRH/Syracuse/Utica, NY, and evenings at Audacy’s Rock WTPT (Planet Radio 93.3)/Greenville.
