NBC, Peacock Average Nearly 25 Million Viewers for Chiefs-Falcons Sunday Night Football Game

The audience peaked at 27.5 million viewers just before halftime at 9:30 p.m. 9:45 p.m. ET.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons played a very tight game with the Chiefs prevailing 22-17 on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. According to NBC Sports, the game averaged nearly 25 million viewers on NBC and Peacock and is now SNF’s most watched week 3 game ever.

The game averaged a preliminary Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 24.8 million viewers on NBC and Peacock, based on live plus same day custom fast nationals from Nielsen and digital data from Adobe Analytics. The audience peaked at 27.5 million viewers just before halftime at 9:30 p.m. 9:45 p.m. ET.

Chiefs-Falcons topped viewership for last year’s Steelers-Raiders week 3 game by 20%.

Through three weeks, Sunday Night Football is averaging 24.3 million viewers across all platforms. That’s the series’ best four-game start since 2015.
