Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), dedicated to advancing female leadership in radio broadcasting, has selected Jenelle Vannoy as the 2024 “Behind The Mic” mentee. Vannoy is the Afternoon Drive Host at Cumulus Media’s Top 40 KOBQ/Albuquerque.
The “Behind The Mic Mentorship” program is a year-long experience exclusively for women on the air in any U.S. based music format. Eligible applicants must have at least 3-5 years of experience in local or national radio programming and have demonstrated a desire to grow their on-air career. Selected mentees receive personalized guidance and advice from various industry professionals. Additionally, the program provides the opportunity to attend Radio Show 2025, the premier event for the audio community, held this April in Las Vegas.
