Country music artists, industry professionals, and fans convened at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House last night (8/26) for the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards hosted by Shania Twain.
Morgan Wallen emerged as the standout winner of the night, securing four awards in total. His wins included The People’s Artist of 2024, The Concert Tour of 2024, The Social Country Star of 2024, and The Song of 2024 for “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone.
Luke Combs also had a successful night, walking away with three awards for The Male Artist of 2024, The Album of 2024 for “Fathers & Sons,” and The Male Country Song of 2024 with “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma.” The up-and-coming country artist Shaboozey made a strong impression by clinching The New Artist of 2024 and The New Artist Song of 2024 for “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, Dasha, Cody Johnson, Old Dominion, Zach Bryan, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), and Jelly Roll also took home trophies.
As previously announced (BMM 9/6), Kane Brown was awarded the Country Champion Award. Miranda Lambert was presented with the Country Icon Award.
