Kevin Ryder, Doug ‘Sluggo’ Roberts, And Marci Wiser Hint At Team Up

Three former Meruelo Media Classic Rock KLOS/Los Angeles personalities are hinting at possibly teaming up.

Former afternoon hosts Kevin Ryder and Doug ‘Sluggo’ Roberts and midday host Marci Wiser posted a logo tease on social media, possibly representing a new show on Audacy’s Alternative KROQ.

Wiser joined Audacy Classic Alternative KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco for mornings earlier this month. (BMM 9/3). She has been doing fill-ins on KROQ.

Ryder spent 11 years hosting KROQ mornings departing in 2020.

Roberts dedicated almost three decades to KROQ, starting in 1990 and continuing until 2019, before transitioning to KLOS as APD/MD/afternoon host.

Ryder and Roberts fell victim to budget cuts exiting KLOS earlier this month. (BMM 8/8).
